The National Police have arrested three men aged 44, 47, and 49 in Lanzarote, all of whom have prior convictions. They are suspected of drug trafficking and belonging to a criminal organisation following an operation that resulted in the seizure of 55 kilograms of cocaine, with a street value exceeding €1.6 million.

Investigation Details
The investigation commenced when agents from the Drug Enforcement Group of the Local Police Station in Arrecife noticed the frequent travel patterns of the suspects from Gran Canaria to Lanzarote, where they stayed for short periods aimed at distributing narcotics.
As a result, the police established a surveillance operation, noting that the three suspects were employing various counter-surveillance measures to detect police presence.
One day later, investigators observed the suspects entering a holiday home in Playa Honda carrying heavy travel bags.
