CUPRA has named its upcoming major design project: CUPRA Tindaya, a show car that represents the brand’s vision for the future. It will be showcased on 8th September at the Open Space of IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich, during the firm’s press conference at 19:30 hours.
This model is named after the Tindaya volcanic mountain, located on the Canary Island of Fuerteventura. Its rocky, copper-toned surface directly connects with CUPRA’s DNA, while its unrefined shapes evoke the rawness and authenticity of the materials that inspire the brand’s design language.
Central Philosophy
The CUPRA Tindaya show car reflects a central and radical idea: “No drivers, no CUPRA”. With this philosophy, the prototype stands as a machine conceived solely for the driver, designed to maximise the thrill of driving. Its dramatic aesthetic, both exterior and interior, embodies the symbiosis between human and automobile, elevating the driving experience to a new level.
A Bold Future
With this world premiere, CUPRA reaffirms its daring and disruptive character in the industry, foreshadowing a future design language that will define the brand’s evolution in the coming years.
