The young Galician forward, 22 years old, has committed to the blanquiazul entity until 30th June 2027, with an option for two additional seasons. This represents a clear and decisive investment in the promising striker, who has also represented Spain at youth international levels.
Agreement Reached
Noel López de la Fuente (born 17th March 2003 in Silleda, Pontevedra) and CD Tenerife have agreed to join forces for the next two seasons, with an option for two more. This follows his successful medical assessment at the University Hospital Hospiten Rambla, and the completion of the necessary administrative procedures.
Boost for Blanquiazul
In this way, the blanquiazul team enhances their exciting project with a promising forward who has experience in the league (66 matches and six goals at the age of 22) and previously shone at various levels within the Spanish national youth teams, including the under-19 squad.
During his formative years, Noel López caught attention with his abilities, initially at San Tirso SD, and later at RC Deportivo. He particularly stood out during the Copa de Campeones of the División de Honor Juvenil, where the Deportivo team clinched the title after defeating FC Barcelona 3-1, featuring a brace from Noel López.
Transition to the First Team
His evident development saw him rise to the first team, making a remarkable entrance in the 2021/22 season at the tender age of 18. He participated in 32 matches for RC Deportivo, including the Copa SM el Rey and the promotion play-off to the Second Division, netting four goals. He also competed in the UEFA Youth League and earned his debut with the Spanish under-19 team, accumulating six caps with La Rojita.
From RC Deportivo to Real Madrid CF
Real Madrid CF facilitated the transfer of the Silleda striker, who moved to the club to play for Real Madrid Castilla CF, where he featured in 20 matches (2022-2024) and scored once. His subsequent stint was with CA Osasuna’s first reserve team during the 2024/2025 season, also in Primera RFEF, where he made 16 appearances and scored again.
