Man Injured in Fall During Maintenance in Santa Cruz de Tenerife

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 21 Aug. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Accidental Fall from Height

A 56-year-old man has been injured after accidentally falling from a height onto the public road while carrying out maintenance work at a residence on the Chamorga road in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (Cecoes) 1-1-2.

Emergency Response

The incident occurred around 13:17 when the 1-1-2 operations room received an alert regarding the fall. Cecoes promptly activated emergency resources to respond to the scene.

Medical Assistance

Upon arrival, medical personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service assessed and treated the injured man, who presented with a moderate trauma to an upper limb at the initial point of assistance. Subsequently, he was transported by ambulance to the Hospital Universitario Ntra. Sra. de Candelaria.

Police Investigation

The Local Police initiated proceedings related to the incident.
