- The Fiesta de la Chola is filled with music and family fun as part of the San Ginés festivities in Arrecife
On Saturday, Arrecife enjoyed nearly 12 hours of music and entertainment at the Fiesta de la Chola, held at Parque Islas Canarias. This event is designed for the whole family as part of the San Ginés 2025 celebrations.
The summery and festive atmosphere attracted hundreds of families who danced and enjoyed a joyful Saturday with performances by Los 600, DJ Maxi, Aseres, groups Extra and Bomba, and DeLorean.

An Event Designed for Families
The initiative, organised by the Tourism and Commerce Departments (Eli Merino) and Events (Óscar López), featured the attendance of Mayor Yonathan de León, who positively assessed the successful turnout of this edition.
The Town Hall of Arrecife focused on a format designed for all audiences, providing inflatable bouncers for the little ones, shaded areas, humidifiers, and water sprayers to counteract the high temperatures.
Safe Fun at Parque Islas Canarias
The special security measures ensured that the Fiesta de la Chola ran smoothly, establishing it as one of the main attractions of the celebrations. The Parque Islas Canarias became the epicentre of music, dance, and enjoyment throughout the day.
What’s Next in the San Ginés Festivities
The celebrations continue this Monday, 25th August, San Ginés Day, with the traditional mass and procession in honour of the saint. In the evening, attendees can look forward to the much-anticipated concert by Alejandro Fernández and the grand fireworks display on El Reducto beach, which will conclude a historic festival for Lanzarote’s capital.
