This morning, Councillor Ana Rodríguez Taisma announced her resignation from her position as councillor.
In what appears to be a rift between the party leadership and some of its key members, Ana Rodríguez Taisma, a councillor for Fuerteventura Avanza, has resigned this morning.
It seems likely that the various investigations regarding the municipal management of the previous administration, framed within Operation Odín—which examines 1.2 million euros in various contracts—may be the cause of the turmoil within the municipal party.
The situation complicates the composition of the Fuerteventura Avanza team in the capital’s city council, with indications that Erika Ania Bautista is likely to take over. Also remaining on the list are Juan Miguel Medina Aragón and Raquel Yanes García.
