Serious Injury for Man in Gran Canaria Incident

Accident Details

An incident occurred shortly after 09:30 this Tuesday on Avenida de Gran Canaria, within the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana. A 40-year-old man sustained serious injuries when a part of a pallet loaded with beer barrels fell on him.

Emergency Response

According to information from the Canary Islands Emergency Coordination Centre (Cecoes) 1-1-2, the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) attended to the man for a serious lower limb trauma. He was subsequently transported by a medical ambulance to Hospiten Roca.

Fire and Police Involvement

Meanwhile, firefighters from the San Bartolomé de Tirajana Fire and Rescue Service assisted with the resources deployed at the scene, while local police carried out the necessary procedures.
