The Ayuntamiento de La Laguna has announced that there will be traffic disruptions around the Plaza del Adelantado and the closure of Calle Consistorio this week, due to the celebration of two significant cultural and sporting events in the municipality.
Upcoming Events
On Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 August, the presentation of the poster and the official programme for the Fiestas del Cristo 2025 will take place, marking the beginning of the most important celebrations in the Lagunero calendar.
New Sports Kits Presentation
On the same day, Wednesday 27, from 14:00 to 22:00, the new Austral Sport 25/26 kits will be unveiled, an event expected to draw numerous attendees to this area of the historic town centre.
Traffic Management
Due to these events, the council has announced that traffic closures and diversions will be implemented from tomorrow, Wednesday, at 14:00, affecting several streets near the Plaza del Adelantado. The Ayuntamiento advises drivers to plan their journeys in advance and to remain vigilant for temporary signage to avoid disruptions.
Alternative routes are recommended, and wherever possible, the use of public transport is encouraged to facilitate mobility during both days.
