Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to Unveil Carnival Poster Inspired by Las Vegas

The city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will select the poster for the upcoming Carnival, themed around Las Vegas, during a gala event. This will take place on Friday, 29 August, in front of the main entrance of the Teatro Pérez Galdós, as stated in a note from the Town Hall.

Public Participation

The event will reveal the six finalist designs, including the one that will represent the festival in 2026. The decision will be in the hands of the public, who will be able to vote for their favourite design via a free SMS.

Live Broadcast and Attendance

The gala will commence at 21:30 and will be hosted by journalist Wendy Fuentes. It will be broadcast live on Televisión Canaria. Attendees can also enjoy the event in person at the theatre, located near the Guiniguada estuary, as access to the gala will be “free until capacity is reached,” according to the release.
