Lanzarote PSOE Mourns the Passing of Eduvigis Berriel de León

The PSOE of Lanzarote wishes to express its heartfelt condolences for the passing of Eduvigis Berriel de León, a fellow socialist and mother of our colleague María Dolores Corujo, Secretary General of the PSOE of Lanzarote, and a Member of Congress as well as a councillor at the Cabildo of Lanzarote.

Eduvigis passed away in the early hours of this Friday, at the age of 76. The wake will take place in San Bartolomé, starting at 3:00 PM.

The Lanzarote Socialist Party extends a “strong hug to María Dolores Corujo and her entire family during this painful time, along with all our love, support, and respect. We understand how significant her mother was in her personal life and career.”

From the PSOE, it is highlighted that Eduvigis “was part of a family deeply committed to political and social engagement, and she was also a member of the San Bartolomé socialist group, to which she always dedicated her affection, closeness, and support.”

“On behalf of the entire Lanzarote socialist family, we stand with Loli, her father, siblings, nieces, and loved ones in their grief, and we share with them the heartfelt memory of a cherished and respected woman who leaves an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to have known her,” concludes the PSOE.
