The festivities in honour of the Virgin of Sorrows, the patroness of Lanzarote, will commence this Monday, 1st September, and conclude on 19th September. Meanwhile, the Romería de Los Dolores will take place on Saturday, 13th September.

The celebrations began this Monday with several championships in Mancha Blanca. The Employment Workshop will take place on Tuesday, 2nd September, followed by the Roseta Workshop on 8th September. The festive programme offers activities for all tastes and ages, with events scheduled every day at the Socio-Cultural Centre in Mancha Blanca.

On Friday, 5th September, a weekend full of activities will kick off with the Foam Party and hiking, as a precursor to the VII edition of the Tinajo You Trail, or the Los Dolores 2025 Basketball Tournament set to be held at the Municipal Pavilion.

Tuesday, 9th September, will see the opening of the Fairground on an inclusive day dedicated to children and young people with autism spectrum disorders. At 21:00, the festivities will be inaugurated by CD Tinajo on its 50th anniversary, featuring performances by Ciro Corujo (vocals), Adrián Niz (guitar), and Alexis Lemes (timple).

On Wednesday, 10th September, the 36th edition of the Crafts Fair will be inaugurated at 17:30.

Humour will be a highlight at the Los Dolores Festivals. On Thursday, 11th September, laughter will abound with comedian Yanely Hernández and Guarapo Gomero, coinciding with “Children’s Day” and affordable prices at the Fairground.

On Saturday, 13th September, offerings will be made to Our Lady of Sorrows, followed by the Dance of the Romeros.

Vanesa Martín: The Grand Concert of Los Dolores

On 14th September, attendees can enjoy the grand concert of the festivities with the singer Vanesa Martín. The performance is scheduled for 21:00 and will be followed by a popular fiesta featuring the bands Grupo Bomba and Banda Nueva.

On Monday, 15th September, a special day awaits as a solemn Eucharist will take place at 11:00, presided over by Monsignor Don José Mazuelos Pérez.
