A 26-year-old woman was seriously injured on Monday after being struck by a vehicle in La Matanza de Acentejo.

Incident Details

The incident occurred shortly after 14:45 when the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (CECOES) 112 of the Canary Islands Government received multiple calls reporting a collision involving a car and a stationary vehicle on San Diego Street. The impact caused the parked vehicle to hit the woman, who required medical assistance.

Emergency Response

Medical personnel from the Canary Islands Health Service (SUC) attended the scene with two ambulances. After stabilising the injured woman, they transported her to the University Hospital of Canarias. Meanwhile, the Civil Guard took charge of the investigation, with assistance from the Local Police.
