Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje Launches New Edition with Presentation in Madrid
The Cabildo, through Turismo de Tenerife and Tenerife Moda, in collaboration with the Adeje Town Hall, presents the eighth edition of the Tenerife Beach Fashion Week at the Vogue Fashion Night Out.
The Cabildo de Tenerife and the Adeje Town Hall are promoting the eighth edition of the Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje (TFBCA) at the Vogue Fashion Night Out Madrid. This new event, focusing on swimwear fashion, will take place from 16 to 18 October in the southern part of the island, bringing together renowned local, national, and international brands to showcase their trends for the upcoming season.
The Vogue Fashion Night Out, set to occur on 11 September in Madrid’s Salamanca district, the city’s main shopping area, will serve as the venue for the TFBCA launch. This evening will celebrate fashion, shopping, music, and culture, coinciding with the start of the Capital’s Fashion Week. Ortega y Gasset street will once again be the hub where the public can immerse themselves in the Vogue experience, marking the kickoff for the Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje 2025.
For the Councillor for Employment, Education, and Youth, Efraín Medina, the collaboration of Tenerife Moda in promoting such an important event as the Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje highlights the commitment to cross-sectoral work among the various departments of the Cabildo de Tenerife, as well as sectors like Tenerife Tourism and Tenerife Moda.
“Participating in the Vogue Fashion Night Out enables us to continue positioning Tenerife as a destination that values creativity, innovation, and unique experiences,” says Dimple Melwani, CEO of Tenerife Tourism, highlighting that “the Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje has consolidated as a strategic platform that boosts both tourism and the fashion industry, generating synergies that enhance its promotion and marketing.” Additionally, “this event showcases local talent and the business fabric of the industry, which, through Tenerife Moda, plays a key role in projecting the island nationally and internationally.”
The TFBCA will feature its own stand at the Vogue Fashion Night, themed around the festival, where the over 50,000 attendees can explore the destination’s offerings. Notably, this year, swimwear aligns with the major music festivals in the southern part of the island for joint promotion, a sector that generates nearly 65 million euros in economic impact and aims to create further opportunities to positively contribute to the local economy.
Brands affiliated with the Tenerife Moda programme, such as Javier Aguiar, Arena Negra, and Lava, winners of previous best collection awards, will showcase their collections, highlighting the potential of the textile sector in Tenerife. This synergy benefits promotion, marketing, and the creation of new sales outlets in key markets such as the mainland.
During the event, visitors can participate in various activities within the VFNO, including a raffle for two experiential packages that include a trip for two to the island, allowing winners to enjoy a personalised itinerary in Costa Adeje with “fashion” as the central theme. The first lucky winners will travel to Tenerife next October, staying at the Hotel Tívoli La Caleta, the official hotel for this edition, and enjoying front-row access to a new edition of the TFBCA catwalk. The second package, offered by Farra World, will enable winners to attend one of its major festivals in 2026 in the southern municipality.
The strategy by Tenerife Tourism, along with the Costa Adeje Tourism sector, aims to enhance experiential tourism within the premium and sustainable segments, rejuvenating and diversifying the visitor profile through differentiation, exclusivity, and excellence, offering unique experiences that translate into higher spending.
According to the Councillor for Tourism in Adeje, Patricia Paulsen Fölling, the Fashion Beach Costa Adeje serves as a promotional vehicle aimed at a “specific segment, which is important for Costa Adeje, as it exemplifies the type of tourists we seek; visitors who appreciate all the benefits of the destination, respect the environment, and contribute to local development through their presence,” she commented, adding that it is also “about highlighting the essence of Costa Adeje and showcasing the value of our people—men and women who make our destination a place seeking excellence and constant improvement for the benefit of citizens.”
The VIII Edition
The new edition of the TFBCA returns with the Fashion Forum, solidifying its role as a meeting point for the sector where key figures in the fashion industry, both nationally and internationally, share their professional insights and experiences in an informal and approachable setting.
The IV Tenerife Fashion Beach Award for the most marketable collection presented on the runway will also be held. A jury, led by Jesús María Montes-Fernández, a media professional and National Fashion Award winner, will evaluate proposals from the designers participating in the Tenerife Moda programme.
Additionally, the TFBCA will feature top international model and TVE presenter Nieves Álvarez, who will host the grand runway show by the beach alongside renowned TVE presenter in the Canary Islands, Roberto Herrera.
The Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje has established itself as an international reference for the latest trends in swimwear fashion and as a meeting point for the entire industry. Experts and media professionals will attend this event on a press trip aimed at introducing them not only to the work of local creators but also to the main attractions of the destination, allowing them to personally experience its virtues and share this experience in their outlets.
This unique event in Europe, held outdoors as winter approaches and under an incomparable sunset backdrop on the beach of Duque Norte in Costa Adeje, aims to promote the island, and Adeje in particular, as an ideal destination under the combined themes of fashion and climate. Furthermore, it promotes sustainable designs in their creation and manufacturing processes, committed to eliminating single-use plastics and championing ocean conservation under the ‘Plastic Free’ solidarity cause.
