6th September to 10th September

With its infectious joy, discover this vibrant fair featuring flamenco dancing, concerts, stalls, and delicious cuisine. This celebration immerses you in Andalusian culture.

Patronal Celebrations

The event is held in honour of the Virgen de Consolación and is designated as a Festival of Tourist Interest, taking place around the 8th of September. It unfolds in a large fairground adjacent to the Parque de Consolación and is arranged similarly to Seville’s renowned Feria de Abril, with stalls organised by families, groups of friends, or associations.

Traditional Events

On the eve of the 8th of September, a procession known as the Rosario takes place, starting from the Parroquia de Santa María towards the Sanctuary at 11:00 PM. Upon arrival, the traditional ringing of bells and singing of the Salve to Our Lady of Consolation, Patroness of Utrera, occurs. From the early hours of the night until dawn, groups of pilgrims from various villages arrive on foot to pay their respects to the Patroness of Utrera. At 12:00 PM on the 8th, a Solemn Function is held in honour of Our Lady of Consolation.

Flamenco Heritage

Utrera is particularly famous for being the birthplace of remarkable flamenco artists, and during the fair, there are frequent musical displays of this genre.
