Critical Condition Following Drowning Incident at Adeje Hotel
SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 7 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) – A man is in critical condition after a drowning incident that occurred around midday on Sunday at a hotel pool in Adeje, Tenerife, according to the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (Cecoes) 112.
Emergency Response
A call was received reporting that a lifeguard had pulled a man from the water who was in cardiac arrest and showing signs ofdrowning. Resuscitation attempts were initiated according to the instructions given by the coordinating nurse of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) from the 112 control room.
Medical Intervention
Upon arrival of healthcare resources, advanced resuscitation efforts continued. These actions successfully reversed the cardiac arrest, allowing the man to be stabilised before being transported in serious condition by ambulance to Hospiten Sur.
Law Enforcement Support
Local and National Police assisted the emergency teams at the scene.
