Puerto del Rosario Launches Technical Aid Grants for 2025
The Town Council of Puerto del Rosario has published in the Official Bulletin of the Province (BOP), no. 107 of 5 September, the public call and specific regulations for granting technical aid aimed at promoting personal autonomy in the municipality throughout 2025.
With a budget of €50,000, this support initiative is directed towards residents with disabilities or dependence. The aim is to facilitate the acquisition of resources such as hearing aids, adjustable beds, shower chairs, portable ramps, or electric scooters, among other items that enhance mobility, accessibility, and daily autonomy.
The Mayor of Puerto del Rosario, David de Vera, highlighted that “these calls for aid are a real relief for many families. We are not just discussing grants but also improving the dignity and independence of our residents. This is all about enabling them to navigate their daily lives with greater ease.”
Application Details and Requirements
Each applicant may receive a maximum grant of €6,000, allocated on a competitive basis. This means that applications will be assessed according to socioeconomic criteria until the available budget is exhausted.
Among the main requirements, the regulations stipulate that beneficiaries must be residents of the municipality for a minimum of six months. Moreover, they must demonstrate a situation of disability or dependence, or justify mobility issues through a medical report. It will also be necessary to provide documentation evidencing the household income, as well as two quotes for each requested item.
Applications can be submitted at the General Registry of the Town Council or through the municipal electronic headquarters, within a period of 20 calendar days from the publication in the BOP. All relevant information, including attachments and application forms, is available on the municipal website www.puertodelrosario.org in the Social Services thematic area.
