For six days, the city adorns itself with its fairground and porticoes to offer the best to visitors, serving as a connection to those who ventured away in search of a better life. Good music will always be present.

Écija particularly immerses itself in its September Fair, a tradition rooted in the 17th century thanks to the royal privilege granted by Philip IV in 1652. Year after year, it transforms into a vibrant festive gathering that combines local identity, flavours, music, and a unique Andalusian atmosphere.

In 2025, the fair will be heralded by the poster “Genuina,” created by local artist Francisco Javier Barrios Córdoba, dedicated to his mother as his source of inspiration. A flamenco dancer adorned in blue and yellow, set against the city’s monuments, symbolises the essence of an event that ignites the joy of the entire town.

With between 26 and 28 booths in the fairground, the Écija Fair promises days filled with camaraderie, musical performances, and unforgettable moments.
