EMERLAN (Emergencies and Rescues of Lanzarote) reported on Wednesday the rescue of a missing hiker along the path from Las Rositas to Famara.
According to information provided to Crónicas, at 14:22 hours, they deployed their rescue unit and a drone to the path where the Local Police of Haría was already present, and both groups coordinated the search efforts.
While the Local Police and the rescue unit maintained their position, and following the information from the drone unit, the dispatched team went to the Guinate viewpoint where a successful flight was conducted, informing the rescue team to proceed to the hiker’s location. Through a phone call, they learned that the man was returning in good physical condition; however, for safety reasons, they met him and escorted him back to the Las Rositas car park.
