Former Spanish Prime Minister Felipe González to Headline Special Global South Forum in Lanzarote

Former Prime Minister of Spain, Felipe González, will feature in a special edition of the Global South Forum – Lanzarote Media, taking place on Friday, 3rd October at 11:00 AM in the Castillo de San José (International Museum of Contemporary Art).

In an open dialogue format, González will discuss the key challenges facing the international, European, and Spanish landscape, within a global context marked by uncertainty and instability. Recognised internationally as one of Europe’s great statesmen and the longest-serving president in Spanish democracy, he will share his insights and analysis on the current moment.

A Forum to Consider Lanzarote’s Place in the World

This special edition of the Global South Forum has been organised in collaboration with the Felipe González Foundation. The forum remains committed to serving as a permanent space for reflection and debate on the future of Lanzarote within a global context.

The event will be presented by Techy Acosta, Director of Lanzarote Media, and the conversation will be moderated by Alberto Acosta, head of the Global South Forum – Lanzarote Media.
