The Lanzarote journalist José Fernández Lorenzo has been awarded at the 2025 edition of FesTVal Vitoria-Gasteiz for his commitment to culture and audiovisual dissemination.

The Cabildo of Lanzarote, through SPEL-Turismo Lanzarote, has congratulated the communicator, highlighting his role as an ambassador of the island’s cultural identity and his ability to project local talent beyond the Canary Islands.

The President of the Cabildo, Oswaldo Betancort, stated that this recognition is “a tribute to those who, with dedication and talent, promote our culture nationally and internationally.”

The FesTVal Lanzarote award reaffirms the importance of audiovisual media as a platform for showcasing local talent and its cultural impact.
