Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje (TFBCA) showcased its eighth edition in the Madrid neighbourhood of Salamanca, the city’s main shopping area, with its own stand dedicated to festival themes.

Over 50,000 attendees were able to explore the latest developments from this major Tenerife swimwear event, which will return to Costa Adeje from 16 to 18 October.

The catwalk, now established as an international reference for the latest trends in the sector, is notable for being one of the few outdoor events in Europe, providing a unique character set against a privileged backdrop.

The images of the runway displayed on a large-format screen, alongside promotional material for the destination, captivated both locals and visitors alike.

During the event, visitors could participate in various activations within the VFNO, such as a raffle for two experiential packages that include a trip for two to the island, allowing winners to enjoy a personalised itinerary in Adeje, with “fashion” as the thread of the experience.

The first lucky winners will travel to Tenerife in October and will stay at the Hotel Tívoli La Caleta, the official hotel for this edition, experiencing the TFBCA from the front row as exclusive guests.

As a new feature, and staying true to the thematic line of this edition of VFNO, swimwear will be linked with the most significant music festivals in the southern part of the island, promoting joint visibility. Farra World organised a raffle for a package that will enable attendees to experience one of its main festivals in 2026 in the southern municipality.

A Space for Marketing

The brands within the Tenerife Moda collective, Javier Aguiar, Arena Negra, and Lava, winners of the last editions of the best collection award, presented their swimwear proposals with a “festival” style for this season.

Through QR Scanning labels, visitors could access the social media platforms and Marketplace of these brands, facilitating not only the sale of their products but also the understanding of the design philosophy of Tenerife’s creators, who are committed to sustainability through the Plastic Free initiative, aligned with the SDGs of the 2030 Agenda promoted by TFBCA.

The Vice President and Tourism Councillor of the Cabildo, Lope Afonso, highlighted the importance of participating in a premier event such as Vogue Fashion Night Out, stating that it demonstrates Tenerife’s business strength and promotional capacity to be present at major national and international events, particularly in the fashion sector.

Meanwhile, Efraín Medina, Councillor for Employment and Education of the Cabildo of Tenerife, stated that “each brand from Tenerife Moda participating in the Vogue Fashion’s Night Out — Arena Negra, Lava, and Ananaswear, winners of the last three editions of the Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje — represents an opportunity to demonstrate that high-quality design and production exists on the island, with identity and sustainable commitment. Being present at an international reference event allows us to share our collections with a global audience and clarify that fashion made in the Canary Islands possesses strength, character, and the capability to compete on major international stages.”

Dimple Melwani, Chief Executive of Tourism Tenerife, emphasises that “promoting Tenerife at the Vogue Fashion’s Night Out provides an excellent opportunity for international visibility in one of the leading national and international fashion events, particularly showcasing the great potential of the island’s talent through the brands of Tenerife Moda that connect the world of fashion and haute couture. It is an event that facilitates interaction with designers, brands, and celebrities, allowing attendees to discover the latest trends and engage with fashion in a more personal way.”

For Melwani, “tourism and fashion are two sectors that hold great potential when combined as a strategy, contributing to diversifying the tourist offer and fostering the local economy.”

Additionally, Patricia Paulsen Fölling, Councillor for the Area of Tourist Destination and Sustainability, values “the significance of Costa Adeje participating in a promotion of this kind, which aligns well with the type of segment and clientele we seek for our destination; a tourist committed to quality, excellence, and also to sustainable development and environmental responsibility.”

“We aim to enhance our presence and visibility to tourists who view fashion or haute couture as key references, associating the image of Costa Adeje with top-level events and promotions. We always say that we don’t want more tourists; instead, we want those who come to engage more deeply with quality and the destination,” concluded Fölling.
