This week, the Cabildo of Lanzarote will host the first Congress of Veterinarians and Veterinary Auxiliaries (ATVs), a historic event that will bring together professionals from the sector at the institution’s auditorium on 19th and 20th September.
The president, Oswaldo Betancort, and the councillor for Animal Welfare, Armando Santana, emphasised the significance of this event in promoting continuous training and the exchange of experiences. “Animal welfare requires trained professionals with resources, and this congress addresses that need,” highlighted Santana.
Program Highlights
The programme includes lectures on nutrition, orthopaedic pathologies, ophthalmology, dermatology, feline pain, artificial intelligence in veterinary management, and colony control for cats.
Open to All
This initiative, in collaboration with the College of Veterinarians of Las Palmas, is also open to anyone interested in animal health and care.
