Leganés, one of the four teams yet to taste defeat this season in LaLiga Hypermotion, will face UD Las Palmas, who are currently unbeaten away, at the Butarque Stadium this Saturday (17:30 Canary Time). This matchup was also seen in the top tier of Spanish football last year. Leganés and UD Las Palmas go head-to-head this Saturday at Butarque

Both teams, having faced relegation, were automatically considered favourites to return to the elite this season. However, they currently find themselves in mid-table, separated by just one point and inching closer to the playoff spots for promotion to La Primera.

UD Las Palmas visits one of their historical bogey grounds in Spanish football, where their record is not favourable – their last victory here was 20 years ago in the now-defunct Segunda División B. Nevertheless, they arrive unbeaten in their away matches this season.

The yellow team secured a convincing victory in Córdoba (1-3) and managed to take a point from Burgos (0-0), in two solid performances as visitors that they hope to replicate against a direct promotion rival, with both clubs coming from the same division.

Las Palmas aims to achieve back-to-back victories for the first time this season, having beaten Real Sociedad B the previous week with a scoreline that belied their relative comfort (2-1).

The match, starting at 17:15, can be listened to on Onda Fuerteventura 91.2 and 91.6 in collaboration with Radio Marca Gran Canaria. Leganés and UD Las Palmas will face off this Saturday at Butarque.
