The group included 53 men and 4 women (including 6 minors). There were no pregnant women or nursing mothers, nor any fatalities or missing persons reported during the journey. The declared nationalities were from Senegal, Eritrea, Guinea Conakry, and Gambia.

Rescue Operation Details

The operation at the dock was activated at 15:46 and lasted until 21:40. It involved nine Red Cross personnel, including volunteers and staff, along with several support vehicles: one basic life support ambulance, a mixed van, and two 4×4 vehicles.

Onshore Assistance

According to the report, seven individuals required medical attention upon arrival, although none needed to be hospitalised. The majority of the migrants were in good health after a day at sea.

The intervention concluded without any significant incidents, with all occupants handed over to the relevant immigration and reception services.

It is worth noting that with the arrival of calm seas in September, there has been a surge in boat landings to the islands due to improved weather conditions.
