Man Injured in Rocky Accident on Tenerife Coast
SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 21 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 52-year-old man has sustained moderate injuries following a fall in a rocky area along the coast of San Miguel de Abona, Tenerife, as reported by the Canary Islands Emergency Coordination Centre (112).
The incident occurred at 10:18 AM on Sunday. Firefighters from Tenerife were dispatched to the scene, where they rescued the victim and transported him to the location of a Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) ambulance.
Upon examination by SUC personnel, the man was found to have sustained a moderate head injury along with another injury to his wrist. He was subsequently taken to the South Hospital for further treatment.
Officers from the Civil Guard and local rural guards also attended the scene of the incident.
