The Employment Promotion Councillor, Nuria Cabrera, explained, “At the Cabildo, we aim to continue advancing employment plans that offer real opportunities to those who need them most. This is our focus from the department, with projects that are both innovative and key to the island’s sectors.”
‘El Cabildo Te Informa’ represents an investment of €292,428, employing nine individuals, including a senior technician responsible for project coordination, seven recognised disabled information assistants, and an administrative employee. These assistants operate in the public assistance offices in Puerto del Rosario, Gran Tarajal, Morro Jable, and Corralejo, as well as in the Agricultural Extension Office in Gran Tarajal.
Their responsibilities include public service, document management, electronic filing, report transcription, and the use of computer tools. The initiative is developed in coordination with the presidency area. The councillor responsible for the public assistance offices (OAC), Nereida Calero, highlights the importance of bringing administration closer to the public, improving service quality, reducing wait times, and simplifying procedures for citizens.
