Canciones por los Rincones: A Musical Evening at the Convent

A Celebration of Music and Heritage

The Convento de las Dominicas in Teror will host a musical event, “Canciones por los Rincones,” on Friday, 26th September at 19:00. This gathering is part of the commemorative calendar celebrating the centenary of the iconic convent, under the theme “100 years: Soul, Memory, Future.”

This evening will feature renowned local musicians: Fermín Romero, José Artiles, Daniel Cano, Toni González, Rafa Santana, Domingo Quintana, and Rubén Vicco. They will perform a varied selection of pieces in an intimate and participative atmosphere.

Free Admission and Venue Details

Admission will be free until the venue reaches capacity. The event will take place in the Espacio Verode of the convent, located at Paseo González Díaz 81, Teror. The organisation is managed by the collective ‘Incluye,’ with support from various public entities, including the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, the Department of Culture, the Government of the Canary Islands, the Town Council of Teror, and local groups.

A Year of Cultural Activities

This gathering is part of the ‘Bendita Cultura’ cultural activities to celebrate the convent’s 100 years, highlighting the memory and future of this heritage site in Teror. Throughout the year, proposals will be made accessible to the entire community.
