A tourist “ser alongaba” for several minutes in the surf at great risk to his life

Every summer, Fuerteventura welcomes numerous tourists who, driven by an excess of curiosity, attempt to capture what they consider the perfect photo, often neglecting the dangers that surround them.
In this regard, it has been observed on multiple occasions how tourists at Playa del Valle, in the municipality of Betancuria, try to take photos in the surf, ignoring all danger signs.
This was the case of a man who was trying to take a photo on the rocks at one of the most dangerous points. While it is true that in summer the force of the sea is different, it takes just one bigger wave to sweep him across that rocky area.
Let this article serve as a reminder of the importance of keeping a safe distance from the ocean, especially in the north and along the entire west coast of Fuerteventura. Simply put, to prevent tragedies.
