Guest & Sponsored Posts and Press Releases
We accept high quality guest posts, sponsored articles, and timely press releases relevant to the Canary Islands.
What we accept: Guest posts are thought leadership and informative pieces from credible contributors that are non commercial. Sponsored posts are brand funded articles produced by you or by our editorial team and clearly disclosed. Press releases include newsworthy announcements such as openings, launches, events, and milestones; we may publish verbatim or lightly edit for clarity.
Standards and disclosure: Content must be original, accurate, and aligned with travel, lifestyle, business, real estate, culture, events, or resident/expat services ALL on the topic of the Canary Islands. All paid placements can be labelled “Sponsored” or “Partner Content.” We allow one contextual dofollow brand link if sponsored as well as an external link to a relevant authority site within the body of the content and a link to an internal post on Canarian News.
Guest posts if accepted and non commercial will use nofollowed links and only in exceptional circumstances are they followed links depending on the quality and value it could add to our readers.
Formats: Guest posts 800–1,200 words; sponsored posts 700–1,200; press releases 400–800. Include 1–3 images (min 1200×675) with rights confirmed; optional short MP4 video.
Turnaround and pricing: Editorial review in 3–5 business days (guest/PR) and 5–7 business days (sponsored if production is needed). Exceptional non- promotional guest thought leadership may be complimentary; promotional submissions may be treated as sponsored. Sponsored posts are fixed fee (placement only or with content creation).
Press releases carry a publishing fee; premium options include editorial adaptation, homepage highlight, and social amplification. Releases will have one followed link and up to two nofollowed links.

How to submit: Send a Google Doc or Word file, 1–3 images with credits and suggested alt text, logo, and preferred links to use. Email [email protected] with subject: Submission – Guest Post / Sponsored Post / Press Release, and include your preferred publish date.
