The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has issued a warning for Wednesday regarding a slight rise in temperatures across the inland areas of the mountainous islands, accompanied by moderate to strong winds from the northeast.

Cloudy skies are expected in the north of the higher islands, which will clear during the central hours of the day. The eastern islands will enjoy mostly clear conditions, although some cloud intervals may appear overnight along the northern and western coasts.

General Forecast

  • Temperatures: Largely stable, with slight increases in maximums inland on the mountainous islands.
  • Winds: Moderate northeast winds, intensifying in the southeast and northwest with strong intervals; breezes will prevail along the southwest coasts.
  • At Sea: Northeast winds of force 5–6, occasionally reaching force 7, with strong to heavy swells in the south until dawn. A north swell will bring waves of around 2 metres to northern coasts. Southern coasts can expect lighter winds (force 2–3) with slight swells or choppy seas.
