Celebrating Cultural Success

Adrián del Castillo, the Culture Councillor of La Laguna, emphasises the “success of a cultural initiative that always ignites public interest and offers a dynamic and highly entertaining way to explore the corners of our municipality’s main venue and its history.”

Interactive Exploration

This clue game, created by historian Néstor Verona specifically for Cultura de La Laguna, reveals the history and intricacies of the cultural space as well as details about the life of the theatre’s first director, José González Rivero. The dynamic of the activity allows participants to influence the progress of the event, with the plot and tour of the facilities depending on the choices they make. Participants will be invited to solve a case inspired by the stories found in ‘The Mysterious Mr Quin’ by Agatha Christie.

Engaging Performers

The visit features performances by actors Antonio Conejo, Eduardo Feria, and actress Sigrid Ojel. Through their characters, attendees will delve into a heritage space and access areas such as the dressing rooms and backstage, providing insight into how performances are structured.

Growing Popularity

Due to high demand and with the aim of attracting a broader family audience, this fifth season will include double sessions and morning performances. Continuously selling out tickets, even during the pandemic, ‘Murder at the Leal’ has become the only immersive theatre production that has maintained a stable presence in the cultural programming of the Canary Islands.
