Similarly, the councillor for the Centro-Ifara district, Purificación Dávila, encouraged residents to come to the Alameda “to enjoy both the burgers and the music, in the heart of Santa Cruz, an event we are collaborating on that will not only be for the enjoyment of the public but also to energise this part of the municipality.”
Diverse Culinary Offerings
In addition to the musical line-up, Burger Fest Canarias will bring a varied culinary selection and an international beer offering with over 20 taps from different brands. There will also be a special area dedicated to craft beer, featuring some of the best projects from the Canary Islands.
More than 15 burger restaurants from across the archipelago will participate, focusing on local produce, along with food trucks, sweet stalls, and a dedicated vegan and gluten-free area.
Best Burger Competition
As is customary in its successful editions across the Canary Islands, the festival will include a competition to select the best burger. The jury, organised by Beers, the event promoter, will award prizes of €1,000, €300, and €150 to the top three, alongside a special audience vote prize worth €150.
