Caleta de Fuste Hosts the 2025 Fuerteventura Tourism Awards

The mayor, Matías Peña García, expressed gratitude for the selection of Caleta de Fuste as the host venue for these awards, which recognise the most outstanding entities in the island’s tourism sector. Caleta de Fuste will host the Distinguished Tourism Awards 2025 ceremony this Saturday.

The Distinguished Tourism Awards are returning to Caleta de Fuste after nine years since their inaugural celebration in the town in 2016, the mayor noted.

Local Government Support

Antigua Town Hall is collaborating through its Tourism, Works, and Services departments, led by Kristina Rodewig and Juan Cabrera respectively. They are providing all necessary logistical support, beautification, cleaning, lighting, and preparation of various areas as requested by the Tourism Department of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura.

Safety Measures

To ensure the smooth execution of the Distinguished Tourism Awards, the mayor, Matías Peña, mentioned that a security team, including control and signage, will be coordinated by the Local Police of Antigua and the State Security forces, the Guardia Civil, to minimise any potential incidents.

Caleta de Fuste will host the Distinguished Tourism Awards 2025 ceremony this Saturday.
