SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 21 August. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Canary Islands Health Service (SCS) will offer a total of 465 places for the Specialised Health Training (FSE) programme for the 2025-2026 academic year. This is the highest number of FSE places ever offered by the health system in the Canary Islands, representing an increase of 141 places compared to the 2018 offer for the training of specialists in the islands’ healthcare institutions.
Thus, compared to 2023, there is an increase of 29 places, placing the Canary Islands above the national average, which stands at 3%, as reported by the Ministry of Health in an official statement.
Moreover, on Thursday, 21 August, the Official State Gazette published the announcement of the qualifying exams for access to FSE places, which includes all these positions. For the Canary Islands, this amounts to five more places than in the previous call. Additionally, this announcement includes training in Immunology and in Emergency and Urgent Medicine, recently approved.
