Antigua presented the official programme for the Festivities in Honour of Our Lady of La Antigua 2025 this Monday, August 18, a calendar that includes musical performances, themed nights, sports activities, and religious events, as well as spaces for the whole family. The mayor, Matías Peña García, highlighted the work of the Festival Commission, congratulated the announcer Pepa Hernández, and emphasised the presence of representatives from the Villa of Arafo, a municipality with which a partnership is maintained.
The spokesperson for the Commission, Nerea Santana, recalled the importance of popular participation, while Pepa Hernández expressed her gratitude for the honour of being this year’s announcer. Councillors Pedro M. Armas (Festivities) and Samuel Torres (Sports) were also present.
