Celebrations and Events at Mancha Blanca: A Guide to the Fiestas de Los Dolores 2025

The romería and performance by Vanesa Martín are set to be the highlights of the festivities in Mancha Blanca. Discover the full programme of events.

The celebrations are now underway, with activities taking place from Monday in Mancha Blanca. These include championships, workshops, and cultural events for all ages at the Centro Socio Cultural.

Upcoming Activities

On Friday, 5th September, a weekend full of activities kicks off with the “Foam Party” and hiking, leading up to the seventh edition of the Tinajo You Trail and the 2025 Los Dolores Basketball Tournament at the Municipal Pavilion.

On Tuesday, 9th September, the fairground will open with an inclusive day dedicated to children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder. At 21:00, the festivities will officially begin with a proclamation delivered by CD Tinajo, celebrating its 50th anniversary, featuring performances by Ciro Corujo (vocals), Adrián Niz (guitar), and Alexis Lemes (timple).

The following day, Wednesday, 10th September, will see the inauguration of the 36th edition of the Craft Fair at 17:30.

Humour will feature prominently in the Fiestas de Los Dolores. On Thursday, 11th September, laughter will abound with comedian Yanely Hernández and Guarapo Gomero. This coincides with “Children’s Day,” offering popular prices at the Fairground.

On Saturday, 13th September, the offerings for Our Lady of Los Dolores will take place, followed by the Baile del Romero.

On 14th September, attendees will enjoy a major concert featuring singer Vanesa Martín at 21:00, followed by a lively fiesta with performances from Grupo Bomba and Banda Nueva.

Monday, 15th September, will also be a special day, with a solemn eucharist held at 11:00, presided over by Monsignor José Mazuelos Pérez.

Jonathan Pérez Olivero, the Councillor for Festivities, and Jesús Machín, the Mayor of Tinajo, invite “all residents of Lanzarote and the other Canary Islands, as well as those visiting from other parts of the country, to join these festivities in honour of the island’s patroness. We are proud to once again offer a varied and comprehensive programme designed for everyone to enjoy these celebrations in the splendid setting of Mancha Blanca.
