UD Las Palmas Seeks First Victory of the Season in Córdoba
Today on Onda Fuerteventura: pre-match coverage from 20:15 alongside Radio Marca Gran Canaria, with the live match starting at 20:30 on 91.2 and 91.6 FM.
The UD Las Palmas embarks on its first away trip of the season in LaLiga Hypermotion this Monday. The team travels to the Bahrain Victorious Nuevo Arcángel to face a Córdoba side also in need of points after losing their opening match in Gijón (2-1).
Manager Luis García aims to improve on the team’s performance from the first match, where they managed only a draw against Andorra (1-1). They will be bolstered by the return of captain Jonathan Viera following his recovery, along with young Serbian player Milos Lukovic. However, the coach will be without key players such as Iván Gil, Sandro Ramírez, Kirian Rodríguez, Viti Rozada, and the suspended Pezzolesi. Additionally, Jesé Rodríguez is sidelined due to flu-like symptoms.
Córdoba, meanwhile, faces their first home match with significant absences, including Álex Sala, who has been transferred to Lecce, and injuries to Rubén Alves, Adilson Mendes, and Dalisson de Almeida, as well as a doubt over Diego Bri. Despite this, Iván Ania’s team displayed offensive potential at El Molinón and will seek to capitalise on this in front of their home crowd.
The historical record favours the blanquiverde side, although UD Las Palmas has experienced success at El Arcángel, securing victory on six occasions, with their last win dating back to the 2013-14 season.
With both teams yet to register a win, the match promises to be intense and tense from the outset.
Onda Fuerteventura brings you all the excitement from 20:15 with pre-match coverage and at 20:30 the kick-off live on 91.2 and 91.6 FM.
