A multiple vehicle collision occurred this Sunday on the TF-1 southern motorway, near Güímar, heading towards Santa Cruz de Tenerife, resulting in a total of eleven individuals receiving treatment from emergency services.
Eight of those involved in the accident were evacuated to healthcare facilities with injuries of a minor to moderate nature, while three others were treated at the scene of the incident, according to the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (CECOES) 112 of the Canary Islands Government.
The incident, which occurred around 20:00 hours, has caused significant traffic congestion on the TF-1.
The collision, involving five vehicles, necessitated the activation of a comprehensive response team, including ambulances from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), Guardia Civil personnel, Tenerife Firefighters, and Cabildo road maintenance staff.
