Clavijo and Pradales to Sign Bilateral Agreement on R&D in Tenerife

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 10 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The President of the Canary Islands Government, Fernando Clavijo, and the Basque Lehendakari, Imanol Pradales, will sign a bilateral agreement on research and development (R&D) this Thursday in Tenerife.
Official Reception and Collaboration Signing
The official reception for the Lehendakari will take place at midday at the Government Presidency headquarters, featuring a musical performance in the courtyard with a blend of Canarian and Basque instrumental fusion.
Following the customary family photograph, both presidents will sign the collaboration agreement shortly before 1 PM, after which they will address the media.
Visit to the Teide Observatory
In the afternoon, starting at 4:30 PM, they will visit the Teide Observatory to view the network of telescopes and meet with Valentín Martínez, Director of the Astrophysics Institute of the Canary Islands (IAC), and Emilio García, Advisor for the Coordination of the Canary Observatories (IAC).
