Arrecife’s Residents Invited to Participate in Rosana’s Docuseries
The Councillor for Culture in Arrecife, Abigail González, is encouraging the entire community to take part in the filming of the docuseries being produced by local singer Rosana Arbelo in her hometown.
The event will take place on Wednesday 17th September, starting at 16:00, at the music kiosk in Arrecife.
Calling for Participation
From the Culture Department, a call is being made for participation from individuals of all ages, who are requested to wear a plain white t-shirt or shirt (without brands or logos) and long jeans.
Excitement for the Project
During a press conference held this week at the Casa de la Cultura Agustín de la Hoz, Rosana expressed her excitement about filming in Arrecife and sharing this audiovisual project with her community, showcasing part of her journey and roots.
A Unique Opportunity
Councillor González emphasised that “this is a unique opportunity for the residents of Arrecife to become the stars of an international cultural project, alongside one of our most beloved artists.”
She also highlighted that “Rosana has taken the name of Lanzarote and Arrecife to stages around the world, and now she wants her community to be present in this docuseries. I encourage everyone to participate, as together we will write a very special chapter in our cultural history.”
Community Collaboration Appreciated
The councillor expressed her gratitude in advance for the community’s support and urged the public to join this collective experience that will be immortalised in the artist’s audiovisual work.
