The Town Hall of Santiago del Teide, in collaboration with the Tenerife Island Council, the hotel chain Landmar Hotels, the association Terramare, and Gesplan, is organising a large coastal clean-up on Saturday, 31 August as part of the Sunset Vive + Santiago del Teide Festival.

The event will take place at the beaches of Puerto de Santiago and Playa de la Arena, from 10:00 to 14:00, where volunteers, locals, and visitors will come together with a common goal: to care for and protect the coastal environment of the municipality.

Promoting Environmental Awareness

The Town Hall emphasises that this initiative aims to raise public awareness about the importance of keeping natural spaces free from waste, as well as promoting values of sustainability and respect for the environment. Additionally, at the end of the activity, all participants will be able to enjoy a paella as a gesture of gratitude for their involvement and commitment.

Invitation to the Community

The council invites all citizens to join this day, which combines community work with social interaction, reinforcing Santiago del Teide’s commitment to preserving its coastline and the sustainability of the municipality.
