Construction at the Motor Circuit has commenced without an official photograph or promotional video. This project began 35 years ago and now has several machines working daily in Atogo, aiming to prepare what will become one of the most valuable motorsport institutions in the Archipelago.
With a capacity for 60,000 people, 5,000 seats, and 24 VIP areas, the new circuit will feature various services such as restaurants and shops, in addition to parking facilities and designated spaces for motorsport enthusiasts.
Here are some details about the layout, which will be located in the Los Duques de Atogo area, within the municipality of Granadilla de Abona, just four kilometres from Tenerife South Airport:

Area: The total area occupied by the circuit is nearly 650,000 square metres, divided into various components: track, paddock, service buildings, race control building, medical building, helipads, public areas, and parking facilities.
Layout: The circuit features a total of 16 corners (11 left and 5 right). The corners have a unique gradient, ranging from 1% to 5% depending on the radius and speed of travel.
Paddock: The area designated for pits, garages, and team trucks will occupy around 72,000 m², adequately meeting the needs arising from both national and international competitions. The total number of pit boxes in the facility will range from a minimum of 15 to a maximum of 45.
Track: The track is 4,050 metres long (raced counter-clockwise), featuring a main straight of about 800 metres and several secondary straights designed to facilitate overtaking (especially for cars).
Speed: In the circuit, maximum speeds of 320 kilometres per hour can be achieved in cars, with a minimum of 95 in the sharpest corner. For motorcycles, the speed range is between 315 and 80 km/h.
Endorsement: Drivers Carlos Sainz (Formula 1), Carlos Checa (Moto GP), and the Italian-Canarian Christine GZ endorse the circuit’s features.
Homologation: The track’s design and service specifications have obtained the homologation degrees from the International Automobile Federation (FIA) and the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM), allowing for Formula 1 and MotoGP training. Hosting grand prix events in both categories will require corresponding contracts.
