Coti Delights Yaiza with Captivating Concert at Los Remedios Festival

Coti performs his own songs alongside five musicians, forming a band of six artists that delivers a spectacular live show. He does so without tricks or overproduced sounds; his music is refreshingly natural. On Monday, he captivated the audience in Yaiza during the grand finale concert of the Los Remedios patron festivities, taking them on a musical journey through the various eras of his successful career.

Concert Performance

The Argentine singer-songwriter landed in Yaiza amid a gruelling tour of Europe, which had seen him visit London, Dublin, and Amsterdam at the start of September. After performing in the southern part of Lanzarote, he headed to Valencia, yet none of the exhaustion typical of an international artist seemed to dampen his spirits. Coti not only engaged the audience in Yaiza immediately, but he also invited fans to join him on stage. Brave men and women who dared to climb up became part of an evening filled with art and energy.

Memorable Moments

He concluded his performance to the chants of “another, another, another,” singing his hit ‘Nada fue un error’. Before that, a selection of around twenty songs resonated through the plaza, setting the stage for the fireworks to come. Coti played his guitar, took to the keyboard, and performed a couple of more intimate acoustic numbers solo.

Alongside energetic tracks like ‘Antes que ver el sol’, he also dived into personal themes, reflecting on hardships from his past and times when he had to survive by writing songs for others, as he illustrated in ‘Color esperanza’, which also echoed through Yaiza.

Audience Response

The audience in Lanzarote thoroughly enjoyed the concert, with Coti expressing his gratitude for their affection and admiration. After two hours filled with intense emotions, he shared a message of thanks in a reel posted by the Yaiza Town Hall: “I am very moved by a beautiful night with a super special energy. We lived it with great intensity. It was a very magical night, and for that, I want to thank all of Yaiza and Lanzarote for wholeheartedly supporting the concert.” Coti’s performance was a spectacular culmination of the Remedios festivities.
