The Insular Sailing Federation offers courses between 20th and 28th September
The Tenerife Insular Sailing Federation (FIVT) is offering beginner sailing courses in Punta del Hidalgo (San Cristóbal de La Laguna) from 20th to 28th September. There will be three sessions available, each accommodating 14 participants, at a cost of €18 per person.
The meeting point will be the Fishermen’s Guild of Punta del Hidalgo. The first session will take place on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st September, from 09:00 to 14:00. The second session will run from Monday 22nd to Thursday 25th, from 16:00 to 18:30. The final session will be on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th, from 09:00 to 14:00.

The first and third sessions are open to individuals aged 8 to 17, while the second session is available for participants of any age. It is essential to know how to swim.
These courses will be supported by the Autonomous Sports Organisation (OAD) of the San Cristóbal de La Laguna City Council, the Fishermen’s Guild of Punta del Hidalgo, and the Cabildo of Tenerife.
The courses are similar to those held this summer by the FIVT in Garachico and Las Teresitas beach. The Punta del Hidalgo sessions will take advantage of the excellent sailing conditions available at this coastal location during this time of year.
