Driver Loses Control and Rolls Over in Guatiza
A driver lost control of their vehicle and overturned in Guatiza, as reported by the Lanzarote Emergency Consortium.
Details of the Incident
The accident occurred on Barbusano Street at approximately 16:00 on Tuesday, 26 August. Following the alert, local police, a basic life support ambulance from the SUC, and firefighters were dispatched to the scene.
Rescue and Recovery
The driver managed to exit the vehicle unaided and received on-site medical attention but declined transportation to Molina Orosa Hospital.
Aftermath of the Accident
Firefighters righted the vehicle and moved it to the side of the road to reopen traffic. They also disconnected the battery and used sepiolite to clean up oil spills.
Meanwhile, police officers managed traffic and completed the necessary report.
