Return of the Trade Winds Brings Clear Skies to the Island
From this Saturday afternoon, the land mass that has affected the weather in recent days will begin to retreat. This coincides with the arrival of moderate north-easterly trade winds to the island, which are expected to strengthen from moderate to strong through Friday.
Lower temperatures and variable cloud cover will accompany several days of windy conditions, particularly in the northern, western, and southeastern parts of the island.
The winds will be accompanied by sea swells, with waves measuring up to 2.5 metres in the north and west of the island. Caution is advised for those venturing into the water.
