Consistent Northeasterly Winds Expected for At Least a Week

The trade winds are making a comeback this week on the island of Fuerteventura as the Azores High regains its territory, this time beneath Storm Erin, which will also bring swells to the island.

Expect consistent winds of around 40 kilometres per hour, particularly felt in exposed areas, especially in the north and southeast of Fuerteventura.

Temperatures will remain stable, with slight increases in some areas, possibly reaching 30 degrees Celsius at certain locations on the island.

Warnings for Sea Conditions

As for maritime conditions, caution is advised along the coast, with waves possibly reaching up to two metres in height to the north of Fuerteventura.
