Emergency Services Respond to Fall
A 71-year-old woman of British nationality was transported to Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital on Wednesday afternoon following a fall in Montaña Roja, Yaiza.
According to information provided by the Consortium for Security and Emergencies, they were alerted by the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (CECOES) at 12:00. Upon arrival at the scene, they confirmed that paramedics had immobilised the woman’s left lower limb and that the Local Police were also present in the area. Subsequently, the injured woman was placed on a stretcher and transferred to the ambulance before being evacuated to Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
