Balcony Collapse in Arrecife Prompting Emergency Response

Emergency services from the Consortium of Security and Emergencies of Lanzarote responded this Sunday morning to a residential property in Arrecife after reports of part of a balcony’s plaster falling onto the public road.

Notified by the Local Police of Arrecife, they were dispatched to La Añaza street, near number 12, in the Central Park area.

Details of the Incident

According to the Consortium of Security and Emergencies, the incident occurred around 09:30 when pieces of a balcony’s plaster began to detach, posing a risk to pedestrians in the area.

Emergency Response

The firefighters worked on-site to remove the loose debris and secure the area. Following this, the Local Police of Arrecife managed the removal of the rubble and restored normalcy in the vicinity.
