ExpoDeca 2025, the Canary Islands’ Physical Activity and Sports Fair, will take place in Tenerife from 2nd to 5th October. It promises to offer visitors a wide range of activities, made possible through the generous collaboration of numerous participating organisations.

Collaboration and Contributions

The organisers reported in a statement that in addition to providing classes, workshops, and presentations, volunteers will also offer qualified personnel. In many cases, they will take on the transport of essential materials required for the activities.

Notable Ambassadors

This year’s ambassadors include companies such as Beats Fitness Clubs, which will provide around twenty bikes for indoor cycling sessions, and VivaGym, the low-cost gym chain that will supply body pump equipment, including weights, discs, and steps aimed at muscle building and toning.

Other contributors such as the Santa Cruz de Tenerife-Ofra Sports Complex, Arasti, Taichí Tenerife, Coach Martha Bravo, UTE Servicios Deportivos, MM Danza (a dance academy), Kraftwerk Fitness (a gym chain), GoFit, Isa Cruz Yoga (a mindfulness consultant and yoga instructor), Sinergia Carolina (a physical sports educator), and Pura Salsa y Sabor, will also bring their expertise and engaging proposals in various disciplines and styles.

Educational Roles

The role of ambassador extends into the educational realm as well, with participation from the Breast Cancer Association ÁMATE, Hola la Sala de Entrenamiento, the Canary Islands Institute of Sports Arbitration (ICAD), and the University of La Laguna. They will offer one-hour presentations aimed at promoting healthy habits and disseminating specialised knowledge to attendees.

Community Impact

Collaborating entities act as ambassadors for ExpoDeca from their various sectors, be it gyms, dance classes, or yoga, projecting the event’s values and objectives within their communities and professional networks. Through their commitment, they encourage participation in the fair and enhance the visibility of the activities taking place, contributing to a positive and shared impact beyond the fair itself.

In addition to activities and conferences, ExpoDeca 2025 will feature interactive zones, live sporting exhibitions, presentations of the latest equipment and sports technology, along with spaces dedicated to promoting clubs, centres, and projects related to wellness.
